Editorial standards
How we review whole brands.
People often choose a brand before choosing an individual product. Worthfound therefore evaluates the complete customer proposition: what the brand sells, who it serves, how its commercial model works and which trade-offs deserve attention.
What we check
- Brand positioning, product range and intended audience.
- Pricing structure, subscriptions and recurring costs where relevant.
- Delivery, returns, cancellation and customer-service policies.
- Distinctive strengths, practical limitations and credible alternatives.
- Whether introductory offers differ materially from the long-term price.
Evidence and first-hand testing
Every review begins with desk research using official websites, policy pages, help centres and other attributable public information. When a writer has personally tested a product or service, the article states what was tested and for how long. We never imply hands-on experience where none occurred.
Fact-checking
Each article carries a fact-check date. Changeable details such as prices, delivery areas, promotions and subscription terms are checked against linked primary sources. Readers should always confirm final terms on the brand’s website before buying.
Scoring
The Worthfound score is an editorial assessment of clarity, value, range, service and fit for the stated audience. It is not a scientific measurement. Brands cannot purchase a higher score or approve our conclusion.
Affiliate relationships
We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through affiliate links. This supports the publication but does not change the price a reader pays or the editorial standards applied to a review.
Corrections
We correct material factual errors promptly and note substantial updates when they affect a conclusion. Brands and readers can contact the editorial team to flag an issue; commercial relationships never prevent a correction, qualification or removal.
